This guide helps diagnose and resolve common issues with your Engage Inferno

Fans are not spinning :

🔌Fans are not spinning

Check the switch on the 9V battery box is in the ‘On’ position. (I’ve missed this many times!) If the fans are still not spinning you can try directly touching the fan wires to the 9v Battery box wires or the battery itself to ensure the battery is working as expected. Lastly double check the relay and fan wiring.

🔘 When holding the RF Button the LED’s & Sound are going on & off repeatedly

This can be caused by an issue between the RF Button and the receiver. Move the RF button closer to the unit until everything works as expected. This can also be remediated by moving the RF receiver or expanding the wire to a location that will be closer to the RF unit in the hand you intend to use.

🔘 Nothing happens when holding RF Button

If all wires are connected this is likely due to the battery in the RF fob. Use the onboard button to confirm everything else works as expected. If it does then try replacing the battery in the fob.

🔊 No audio

If when pressin the onboard button or RF button there is no audio check for an Orange LED illuminating on the main board when a button is pressed.
If there is no LED first check there is power to the device or try another power bank.
If there is an LED try an alternative aux cable, speaker or test with some wired headphones.

🔊 No Audio Output

Firstly ensure the unit is not connected to a computer as no sound will be produced when connected like this.

Some speakers only work with particular types of aux cables. The one we provide should work with most speakers.

But the easiest test is to connect a pair of wired headphones if you have some connect to the Engage unit. If you get sound from these try replacing the aux cable.

 🔘 Buttons Not Responding

If none of the buttons are working firstly confirm there is power to the unit.  If looking down at the unit from the end the Micro USB connection terminates you should see a Green LED.  If you don’t check the powerbank isn’t autoshutting down as per above.

If this checks out please contact support HERE

If there is a Green LED the second check is to see if a Red LED illuminates near the Aux Input end when a button is pressed.  This LED stays on for the duration of the audio file being played.
IE if its say Yes, the light will be on momentarilty compared to if the audio file is ‘This is the way’.
If you see this Red LED then the unit is working as expected.  Please either try a different aux cable or speaker or test with some wired headphones as mentioned above.

If one or more (but not all) buttons are not working this could be a button or cable fault and will likely need to be visually inspected by us to replace or repair. If this is the case please contact support HERE.
